Being a Guardian Home is an excellent, low cost way to have a quality puppy as a family pet. Here at Precisely Poodles, we are a small family breeder. Since we cannot house all of our breeding dogs here at home we are offering the Guardian Home program for our potential breeding dogs. We want our breeding dogs to be raised in caring loving homes as family pets. As a Guardian Home you agree to raise, train and care for a dog throughout their entire life.

If you would like to be considered for our Guardian program, please fill out the Guardian home application, its at the top and bottom of this page.
If you are chosen, I will give you an option (if available) of pick puppy we would be retaining for our breeding program. You will be responsible for all normal cost of the care and medical expenses of raising a family pet. Precisely Poodles will cover any of the breeding testing and expenses that come. If the dog does not pass all genetic and health testing for our breeding program, you would pay for spay/neuter and retain dog as your family pet. |
How it works |
If the dog does pass all health testing he/she will be part of Precisely Poodles breeding program. Females will be retained for 5 years, producing 3-4 litters in that time. She will come to our home during her heat cycle for breeding, and then back home to you. She will remain with you throughout her pregnancy and come back to us during her delivery and remain with Precisely Poodles until puppies are weaned. Once she has had 3-4 litters you will have her spayed and she will retire with you at no additional fee.
If you are a guardian home for a male (stud), the process is much easier. Once he passes his reproductive testing there will be times when natural breeding is required and he will need to come to our home during that process. He will need to remain intact for 5-6 years. Once we are ready to retire him, he will be neutered and remain your family pet at no additional fee. |

Meet Bonnie our beautiful brown phantom, she is out of the last litter from Stevie and Preston (9/9/23). She would love an active family with another dog. She has a more independent personality and really enjoys to play with another dog. She will come inside and settle down and just lay there until we are ready to go outside and play frisbee again. She is well started on housetraining, we have a doggy door that she uses perfectly. she is not a big chewer which is a huge plus!
